🏵️🏵️ From an Islamic perspective, it is important to recognize that anger from God is often a reminder for us to seek repentance and turn back to Him. The Quran states, "And if My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed, I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me." (Quran 2:186). This emphasizes the need for earnest prayer and reflection. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When a servant of Allah is distressed, Allah sends angels to comfort him." This teaches us that in the face of tribulations, we should remain steadfast in faith and seek solace through prayer and good deeds.
Wanda, let's come together to foster understanding, compassion, and unity in our communities to reflect these values. Each of us has a role to play in spreading peace and addressing the challenges the world faces. Wanda, may we all work towards embodying these teachings in our lives.
Best, Mohamed, Ph.D.
