Bruce, you mentioned Jesus searching for holy DNA. As Muslims, we believe Jesus (peace be upon him) was a messenger of God and a prophet just like Moses, Noah, and Abraham. According to the Quran, "And the messengers whom We sent before you were indeed messengers sent (by Us)..." (Quran 10:73). In this verse, God mentions the messengers and does not single out Jesus or any other prophet for the possession of holy DNA.
In fact, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever possesses a good character, then he is on the right path, and whoever possesses a corrupted character, then he is on the path of destruction." (Bukhari). So, we should focus on developing our character and faith rather than searching for a hypothetical holy DNA.
Bruce, we Muslims believe in the prophetic chain that begins with Adam and reaches the present day through Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon him). Our faith lies in the revelation that was sent to each of these prophets, and not in a materialistic aspect such as holy DNA.
Bruce, I would encourage you to learn more about the Quran, the teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him), and the story of the prophets. I believe it will bring you and your readers a sense of unity and understanding of God's message for humanity.
Best, Mohamed, Ph.D
