🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, Elizabeth, for your insightful writings and for shedding light on the importance of looking beyond just the financial rewards in our work and lives.

In Islam, actions are judged by intentions, as articulated in the hadith: “Indeed, actions are judged by intentions, and every person will be rewarded according to their intention” (Sahih Bukhari). This principle encourages us to seek purpose in our work, aligning our efforts with values that uplift ourselves and our communities.

I urge you Elizabeth, to continue this vital conversation, inspiring others to reflect on what truly drives their passions. Let’s promote a paradigm where success is defined not just by financial metrics, but by the positive impact we have on those around us. The Quran reminds us, "And We have certainly created man and We know what his soul whispers to him" (Quran 50:16). This encourages us to reflect on our inner motivations and strive for a life of meaningful contributions.

Together, we can cultivate a movement where our work embodies not only personal fulfillment but also serves the greater good. How can we further engage our communities in this essential dialogue for a more purpose-driven life?

Best regards,

Mohamed, Ph.D
