🏵️🏵️🏵️ Gautama, it's important to engage in discussions about faith with respect and understanding.

The Quran, as a holy text, clarifies the nature of Jesus (peace be upon him) distinctly. In Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:75), it states that Jesus is just a messenger, reflecting his revered status but not implying divinity. The Quran also emphasizes that neither Jesus nor his mother, Mary (peace be upon them), were divine, rejecting the notion that anyone shares God's attributes.

Moreover, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:136) invites believers to recognize the legitimacy of previous scriptures, including the Torah and the Gospel, urging respect for them while affirming that the Quran is the final revelation, meant to guide humanity.

It's significant to consider that both Islamic texts and authentic traditions emphasize the message of unity in worshiping one God, affirming that belief in all prophets, including Jesus, is fundamental to faith. Rejecting the oneness of God leads to spiritual misunderstanding, as highlighted in Surah Al-Ikhlas (112), which encapsulates the Islamic view of God’s singularity.

Thank you, Gautama, for sharing your thoughts. Your engagement in these discussions is essential for mutual understanding. Wouldn't it be more fruitful to seek common ground in our beliefs rather than focusing on differences?

🏵️🏵️🏵️

Sincerely,

Mohamed, Ph.D
